ABOUT THE ARTIST
Laura Edwards is a contemporary abstract painter from St. Albert, Alberta, Canada. Her colourful, quirky and spontaneous work invites the viewer to immerse themselves in painted worlds of colour, form and movement. Inspired by the abstract painters in Paris in the early 20th century and the orphism and simultanism movements, Laura is interested in painterly, intuitive composition and a playful, modern approach to abstract expressionism.
